Skiing in Bariloche, Argentina
Today was fantastic! A ski instructor quotes, ¨Today was de best dia of de skiing season!¨ in his struggling English. Yesterday was somewhat rough on the mountain because the weather brough white-out conditions. Dad said that one time he thought he had stopped and then realized that he was still moving. One did not know whether they were skiing up or down. Despite the harsh conditions the snow was fabulous and we made the best of what we were given. Today on the other hand was incredible. Sunny, clear skies and great snow brought us a great day on the slopes where we met up with our Aussie friends that we met on the lake crossings. After eating some hamburgers at the top of the mountain we took some great pictures at a lookout spot not far from where we ate. Then it was off to ski a few more runs before heading down at around three. When we returned to the ranch, we headed out on a brief horseback ride that provided us with even more great views of the Andes mountain range. As I (Clark) write this entry, Dad is enjoying a massage. Between the hiking, skiing, zip lining, and horseback riding, the old man deserves his third one of the trip, don´t you think? We both agree that we are in as good of shape as we have ever been. Hope all is well en los Estados Unidos. Stay tuned for an update of the lake crossings in which we took to get here, brought to you by the other author of this blog. Lots of love, Tito y Carlitos

Dear Charlie and Clark,
I am amazed and SOOOOOOO impressed by the chronicle Karen just let me read!!!! Some of your photos should DEFINITELY be submitted to some photo contests!
Clark, I hope you will tuck away into your heart these very special memories of such an awesome opportunity to witness the beauty of the continent and it's people (since me first trip abroad when I was forty, I finally realized that traveling to foreign places where one couldn't speak the language, should be a prerequisite for every American)
...and Charlie, what an incredible gift to be able to share such an experience with your son...one I KNOW YOU will never forget!(youth has a way of dimming those experiences, but, if I know you, you're ability to truly be in the "now", will help imprint the 'Kodak' moments).
Karen kindly invited me over to dinner tonight to catch up (I am now only 5 minutes away...feels like coming full circle again, and I am SO grateful to back close to friends that I love!)
Wishing you a continued trip full of memorable experiences!
Angel Blessings!
