Adios Argentina!

We head to Iguazu Falls tomorrow morning and bid adios to Argentina when we cross the border to Brazil. We will start our visit to Iguazu on the Argentine side with a boat ride under the falls and then cross to the Brazilan side where we will spend the night. Our last day in Buenos Aires has been action-packed with a great tour of the Colon Opera House, including the five sub-floors where the sets are built, costumes designed, and the orchestera and performers practice. We enjoyed a brief practice performance by a ballerina. We wish we could have seen an opera while in town, but missed it by one night - reason to come back! We did THE obligatory shopping spree - the prices are incredible for some of the best leather goods and clothes you'll find anywhere! We're working on repacking tonight and hope the excess baggage doesn't get out of hand! We opted for room service dining before retiring early as we have to leave for the airport at 6:20am! Brazil look out!!!

Carlos and Tito

I have been following your adventures and am very jealous - what a great time you are having. Some of us "working stiffs" are left behind and sitting at our desks.

I thought that I saw that you are going to Australia as well?? If this is the case and you need pointers, let me know. I could introduce you to a couple of people in my office there.

MA and I will keep checking in on you. We are having dinner with Bob Hamrdla tonight in SF, then off to Idaho for my 40th reunion - wow are we old!!

Clark!! My gawd -- 36 ounces of beef??? I'm sure Hilary will enjoy THOSE pics -- except that it isn't Ammuurican beef!!

You can teach me how to tango in about a week!!

Enjoy the next several days into Brazil!! I'll be anxious to hear if you can understand the natives speaking in Portugese!!

Much love -- See you in a week!
